In memory of those who loved in defiance.

In memory of those who loved in defiance.

During the January 8–9, 2026 massacre in Iran, queer and trans lives were taken—and many more were erased in silence. We honor Mr. Abdi, Nima Abbasi, Ariana Arjomandi, Amir Naderi, Pouria Dehghani, and Nia Samari, and the many others whose stories remain hidden.

We will say their names. We will remember.

This memorial was made possible through Project Sogand, an ongoing initiative honoring the lives of trans and queer people lost to violence in Iran.
