ILGA Asia Online Learning Needs Assessment Report

Today on the International Day of #EpidemicPreparedness, we acknowledge the ongoing impact of LGBTIQ communities worldwide and especially in Asia and highlight the importance of inclusive and rights-based responses to the pandemic.🌈

In line with this important occasion, ILGA Asia releases our Online Learning Needs Assessment report which is the result of a research project to understand the opportunities and gaps of online-based approaches to capacity building of our member organisations, with a focus on South Asia.

The learnings of this research inform ILGA Asia’s ongoing work during the ongoing shift to digitalisation brought on by the pandemic, as we adapt and adopt new practices to improve our engagement with member organisations in the region with awareness of individual access to internet, safety and security, and more. 

We hope that our report will be a useful resource for others who utilize online platforms to reach communities to bring change and progress.
