Disability Pride Month - Caesar
To celebrate Disability Pride Month, we are highlighting powerful voices from our communities. Today, we’re honored to feature Caesar Rittiwong (she/her), a leading advocate for Deaf LGBTIQ+ rights in Thailand.
Caesar and her team have developed 86 new Thai Sign Language terms for sexual health and sexuality—equipping Deaf LGBTIQ+ people with the language to express themselves, access vital information, and assert their rights. Later this month, Caesar will be leading trainings in Khon Kaen to further empower Deaf LGBTIQ+ communities in the Northeastern region.
As Caesar reminds us, true inclusion is not just about language—it’s about ensuring information, safety, and participation for all, especially in times of crisis. Let’s keep pushing for systems that listen, adapt, and include everyone.
