STRAP's Spotlight Report on the United Nations High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development Voluntary National Review(VNR) of Philippines

✊🌈ILGA Asia is proud to support the participation of the Society of Trans Women of the Philippines (STRAP) to attend the 2025 High Level Political Forum (HLPF) at UNHQ New York. From 14 - 23 July, Gigi Garcia (@itsyourgurl_gigi ) represented STRAP throughout official HLPF sessions and side events, as well as the Power of Pride event, “Power in Unity: Real Pride Stories of Change”, where she presented STRAP’s Spotlight Report assessing the government of the Philippines progress on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by “highlighting the lived experiences, advocacy efforts, and structural challenges faced by trans Filipinas, or transpinays, across different regions and contexts.”
