To anticipate the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, Biphobia, and Intersexism, ILGA Asia is announcing a new initiative aiming at supporting LGBTI community around Asia to use multimedia in telling the world the story of their community, their history and activism.

The Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) must end the arbitrary detention targeting LGBTIQ+ citizens and immediately release the detainees.

In 2018, ILGA Asia was incorporated in Thailand as ILGA Foundation, a non-profit entity operating under Thai laws. This important milestone has allowed ILGA Asia to function independently since then, and to better provide technical and financial assistance to our members and the LGBTI communities across the region.

The military in Myanmar must immediately restore civilian rule, safely and unconditionally release all political detainees and human rights defenders complying with international human rights laws.
